Hamptons

Niche agency DE&J Levy has formed an alliance with luxury estate agent Hamptons International to target the buoyant London residential market.

The tie up, which launched on Friday (21 October), will combine DE&J Levy's commercial expertise with Hamptons residential skills.

It will see both companies provide development consultancy on projects ranging from niche residential to mixed-use urban regeneration across the capital.

Matt Sharman, head of DE&J Levy's residential division, said: "Our expanding residential arm will be boosted by Hamptons International's first-hand sales knowledge and high street infrastructure, enabling DE&J Levy to strengthen its position in advising clients on land acquisitions and disposals, and furthering our objective of becoming an established brand in the residential sphere."

For Hamptons, whose parent company Countrywide has an alliance with CBRE, the partnership will enable it to expand into the West End.

Nick Vaughan, head of residential development and investment at Hamptons, said: "We are involved in a lot of regeneration projects and high-value residential, so it makes sense to have a partner for the mixed-use and commercial elements."

He added: "DE&J Levy has a strong presence in central London and the West End and that is an area we want to focus on and expand into".
