Anova Books, represented by DE & J Levy, has acquired the former West London Magistrates Court 10 Southcombe Street, London, W14.
The building comprises 8,500 sq ft (790 sq m) of office accommodation arranged over lower ground, ground and first floors and has been taken by Anova on a ten-year lease at an annual rent of £215,000 (£25.29 per sq ft / £272 per sq m). The lease includes a break clause at the end of the fifth year and a five-month rent free period.
The Grade II listed Queen Anne style property was built in 1914 by the leading architect of the time, John Dixon Butler. It has been sympathetically restored and extended by Thomas Gatacre Developments under the supervision of eminent architect Terry Pawson, renowned for his work at the Natural History Museum,
